The Pearl of Great Price - Matthew
Mat 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them,
Mat 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Mat 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Key words:
Pearl = gate to God’s dwelling (Rev 21:21) (Eph 2:22)
Great Price = His only begotten son (John 3:16)
Bought it = the body of the believers (1 Cor 6:19-20)
In other words:
God paid an infinite price to dwell in the temple of the believer’s body.
